The Hill Los Angeles provides multiple gala event venues with capacity for 180 to 1,200 guests. Our main ballroom delivers the infrastructure formal events require: professional staging, integrated lighting, and full A/V systems. Divisible configurations give you flexibility for smaller dinners or separate VIP areas within larger events.
Choose Your Perfect Gala Venue
Sierra Ballroom is our flagship gala space, but the property offers multiple configurations depending on your guest count and event format:
Sierra Ballroom
16,368 square feet accommodating up to 1,180 guests for seated dinners or 1,200 for standing receptions. Full stage capabilities, integrated lighting systems, and a built-in registration desk for managing arrivals.
Divisible Ballroom Sections
Sierra Ballroom splits into four separate spaces, each holding 240-350 guests for seated dinners. Useful for medium-size galas or creating distinct zones during larger events: main dining, VIP section, silent auction area, sponsor lounge.
Ballroom Circle
An outdoor venue with 11,648 square feet, holding 600-900 guests. Works as a standalone fundraising gala venue or as part of a combined indoor/outdoor event flow.

Several other ballroom spaces across the property at varying capacities, giving you flexibility for different gala sizes, concurrent events, or alternative dates.
From Catering to Curtain Call
Everything runs through our in-house teams, so you're not coordinating between a dozen outside vendors:
Professional Catering. Multi-course plated dinners, premium bar service, passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, and dessert service. Five on-site restaurants provide kitchen capacity for events up to 1,200 guests.
Staging and Production. Elevated stages for award presentations, runway configurations, podiums and lecterns, professional sound reinforcement, projection and display systems, and stage lighting design.
Event Customization. Custom linens and table settings, centerpiece coordination, room lighting effects, branded signage throughout the venue, and sponsor recognition displays.
Auction and Fundraising Support. Space allocation for silent auction tables, live auction staging, donation displays, and registration areas for ticketed events.

When guests are traveling from across the region, on-site accommodations eliminate late-night transportation concerns after evening events. Attendees take the elevator instead of calling a car.
